Sierra Gold Parks Foundation is a non-profit organization that supports park-related educational activities and helps to preserve the natural and cultural resources of western Nevada County’s State Parks.
Getting Here
Western Nevada County is home to 3 State Parks, all within driving distance of the major towns of Grass Valley and Nevada City, which are located between Sacramento and Truckee, off of HWY 49.
Visiting all of the parks can easily be accomplished in a weekend. The nearest airports are Reno, NV and Sacramento, CA. We are 2 hours west of Reno and 1.5 hours northeast of Sacramento.
